Friskvårdsbidrag
Massage on your wellness benefit
Your employer's wellness allowance covers massage – one of the most common and appreciated ways to use it. Here it takes three simple steps.
How it works
- 01
Book & enjoy
Choose the massage that suits you – focus, half-body, full-body or luxury – and book a time that works.
- 02
Pay & keep the receipt
Pay as usual. You get a receipt stating the treatment – that's all you need.
- 03
Get reimbursed
Pay directly with Epassi here, or submit the receipt to your employer and get the money back from your allowance. More portals (such as Benify) are on the way.
Which treatments qualify?
According to the Swedish Tax Agency, massage that relieves stress or stiffness counts as wellness, as long as one treatment costs at most 1 000 kr. Here that means:
- Focus massage 350 kr
- Half-body massage from 450 kr
- Full-body massage from 750 kr
- Lymphatic massage from 895 kr
The 1 000 kr-per-visit rule means the Luxury and Mix treatments and the 90-minute lymphatic massage fall outside the benefit. Facials, nails and brow treatments are not covered either. Your receipt shows our company name, organisation number, date, treatment and amount – that is what employers ask for (no personal ID number needed). How much allowance you have is up to your employer.
Common questions
Can I use my Swedish wellness benefit (friskvårdsbidrag) for massage?
Yes. Massage that relieves stress or stiffness counts as wellness according to the Swedish Tax Agency. All massage at Beauty by Rezi can therefore be paid with your friskvårdsbidrag.
How do I use my wellness benefit?
Book as usual. Right now we accept Epassi directly; with other providers you pay here, keep the receipt and submit it to your employer for reimbursement. Benify is coming.
Does the benefit cover facials or nails?
No. The Swedish Tax Agency rules do not cover facials, manicures, pedicures or brow treatments – the benefit applies to massage.
